As a musician ,I first started my 'working career' as a school music teacher. Somewhere over my first 12 years out of college and grad school, I have taught every grade level from K -12. While I taught school, I have always had a home studio where I teach piano and voice. After my husband and I started a family I began working in my husband's law office as office manager. While doing that part-time, I held a Director of Music at my home church of Grace Presbyterian in Jenkintown. I had was in charge of 7 choirs, and chose all the music for them in conjunction with the minister's sermons and had rehearsals every week. With one of my friends, I started the first Abington Hospital, Evening Auxiliary to meet in the evening so we could accommodate those who worked during the day. We have come to have over 25 members. I belong to a group called Questers. This organization was founded in Fort Washington during WW2 and is now an International Organization. Preservation and Restoration are twin tenets of The Questers organization. P & R projects, selected by Quester Chapters, help preserve historical buildings, sites and artifacts for the benefit of the local and global community. P & R awards are given out every other year I sing in two musical groups. My church Chancel Choir and the Montgomery County Community Chorus and Orchestra (MCCCO). These both meet weekly and keep me singing! If you don't use it you loose it! Once a month I meet with a book club. We read some extremely interesting books and it keeps my mind active. We just recently read American Dirt by Janine Cummins. Cooking is a hobby of mine when I am not practicing or selling real estate.
