I was born and raised in Norristown and had strong family ties to Bridgeport so it was natural that I would start my Real estate career in the Norristown area in 1984 even though I was living in Collegeville at that time. In 1978 I married my "High School Sweetheart" Linda and together we bought the house that we are still living in over 40 years later. We have owned several properties throughout the years which actually helps when working with buyers and sellers because I can put myself in their shoes .
In 1988 I earned my Brokers License and from 1989 to 1994 I was the broker / owner of my own Real Estate company. Although my company was growing and thriving it took too much time from my young family ( a son Andrew and a daughter Julianne) so I closed my office to concentrate on family and also returned to what I loved working directly with buyers and sellers.
In my real estate career I have also worked on many board of Realtor committees chaired committees was on the Board of Directors of the local Board of Realtors and was in line to become President of the Board but had to decline due to the time I needed running my own company. I have achieved numerous sales awards earned the Graduate of the Real Estate Institute designation and became a life member of the PAR Excellence.
Real estate can be the hardest easy way to make a living . Hard because you are constantly overcoming challenges objections and rejections between buyers sellers mortgage companies inspectors and local government authorities and if you are not able to manage these issues so that all parties are happy with your results no matter how long it takes you do not earn your fees. It's easy because you get to meet and spend time helping people achieve their goals and dreams while establishing friendships that would not occur with most occupations. In Return they recommend me to their friends and family as a testament to their satisfaction of my service
